How to set Antivirus Exclusions for Symantec Endpoint Protection SBE on PC Running Windows XP, Windows 7, Windows 8.1 or Windows 10

  1. Log into Symantec Endpoint Protection SBE Cloud console.
  2. Create a new Group by clicking Add under the Groups selection:
  3. Click the Endpoint Protection Default Policy: 
            Click "Create" under the Select an Option window:
            Under Computer Protection expand "Custom Exclusions" > Select "Folder" from the dropdown and enter the folder exclusion path found in the Help > Antivirus Exclusions section inside the web portal.
Now launch your web browser and navigate to the web console (, login to the console and click on the "Help" tab on the bottom left of the window and then "Anti-virus Exclusions":
On the Anti-virus Exclusions page locate the path to exclude for your antivirus software:
Locate the folder path for exclusion depending on if this is a 32 or 64 Bit operating system (find this out here).
Proceed to download and install the software.
